The New York Institute of Credit (NYIC) named Spencer Ware, a Director at AlixPartners, the recipient of its 5th Annual Future Leader of the Year Award. Alan Holtz, Managing Director of AlixPartners, presented the award to Spencer at a ceremony on October 24.
The NYIC Future Leader of the Year award recognizes a future leader who has supported NYIC and helped build the NYIC Future Leaders Division. Spencer has been an active member of the NYIC for several years and has been instrumental as a speaker, mentor, and industry leader among young professionals.
“We are proud of Spencer’s contributions to the New York Institute of Credit. He is a strong professional in the bankruptcy and restructuring industry and is an eager mentor for young people establishing themselves in the industry,” said Holtz.
The NYIC award ceremony will also honor chief bankruptcy judge Melanie L. Cyganowski (ret), EDNY, with the Honorable Burton R. Lifland Mentor of the Year Award.
Ware added, “I’m honored to be receiving this prestigious award alongside Judge Cyganowski, and to be recognized by my restructuring colleagues and the NYIC.”
The New York Institute of Credit is a non-profit educational corporation that bridges the gap between business theory and business practice.
