Industry veteran Kevin Otus announcd the launch of Onyx Asset Advisors, LLC (“ONYX”), a new venture focusing within the asset advisory, monetization and valuation industry.  ONYX will specialize in creating multifaceted custom disposition and valuation strategies for its clients. The ONYX executive team has over two centuries of interdisciplinary expertise spanning a broad spectrum of asset classes including; inventory, machinery & equipment, intellectual property, receivables and real estate. The firm utilizes formats ranging from immediate liquidity through outright asset purchase, negotiated orderly sales, prefund disposition activities, public auction and supply chain redirection, to assist our clients as both a strategic and financial partner by maximizing value and often exceed projected recoveries. 

Otus assumes the role of Managing Partner and will oversee the firm's overall operations and investments with a focus on structuring and executing strategies to monetize underperforming and excess assets across a broad spectrum of industries. Stephen Gross has been named ONYX’s Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 30 years of  industry specific financial leadership. Kyle Pesonen, a former Director of Client Relations for the Technology Division of Gordon Brothers Group, will assume a broad range of responsibilities under the role of Director.

Also joining the ONYX executive team are Paul Edstrom (Technology and Finance), who brings over 35 years of experience in the technology industry with both manufacturers and financial services companies; Mark Appleget (Semiconductor and Sales), a veteran of the semiconductor capital equipment industry in both the asset-management and OEM sectors; Arthur Narverud (Valuations), former Chair of the International Board of Examiners of the American Society of Appraisers; and Hal White (Electronic Components), a successful worldwide independent distributor of electronic components and devices.
