Webster Bank named three bankers to the position of senior vice president, commercial banking:
Stephen Burke has joined Webster, bringing with him more than 10 years of banking experience. Most recently, he worked for Antares Capital and GE Capital. Burke earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. He is a resident of Trumbull, Connecticut.
Craig Kempton has rejoined Webster, bringing with him more than 35 years of asset-based lending experience. Most recently, Kempton worked for First Midwest Bank. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Messiah College in Pennsylvania. He is a resident of Naperville, Illinois, and is based in Chicago.
Gilbert Torres recently joined Webster, bringing more than 30 years of experience in asset-based lending, C & I lending, and equipment financing. Torres most recently worked at Santander Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University. He is a resident of South Salem, New York, and is based in New Milford, Connecticut.
