Matt Dekutoski, regional first vice president at Crestmark Bank, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Detroit Chapter of Turnaround Management Association (TMA). Dekutoski will serve as treasurer of the chapter.
The TMA is a non-profit organization whose members seek to strengthen the economy by working to aid distressed businesses, and help healthy companies avoid pitfalls. Dekutoski has been active with the TMA since 2007. He has served as a member of the programming committee for four years; and for the past seven years, he served on the committee that presented the Great Lakes TMA Conference. He has also served on the TMA MARC sponsorship committee for the past two events. The 2016 TMA MARC was held in Chicago; this year it will be held in Detroit on April 5 and 6.
Dekutoski said, “The TMA provides the industry with a platform to connect, network, and access resources on a local, regional, and national level to help companies across North America, and globally, thrive in an ever-changing economy. Whether a company is distressed, growing, or has other needs, the professionals of the Turnaround Management Association have the expertise and tools to help. I am proud to serve on the board to help grow our chapter, broaden its ties to this segment of professionals, expand our reach, and positively impact the economy one business at a time.”
Dekutoski, a resident of Bloomfield Hills, received an M.B.A. from Wayne State University (’08), and a B.A. in economics and management from Albion College (’90).
