Skyway Capital Markets Launches to Support Middle-Market Growth

March 30, 2017, 07:20 AM

Recognizing the dearth of financial opportunities for growth-oriented middle market companies, Securities Attorney Martin Traber and Investment Banker Roger Overby have joined with other investment professionals to establish Skyway Capital Markets to serve clients across the U.S. in a range of industries.

"We fill the void for growing middle market companies who need a wider range of financing options than businesses their size can currently access," says Traber, chairman, Capital Markets Group, Skyway Capital Markets.  "The level and types of services we provide are more typically available only to much larger companies. In addition, we are able to customize a program for clients looking for services that aren't just 'off the shelf.'"

Traber defines Skyway Capital Markets clients as those meeting the following criteria:

  • $10 million to $50 million revenue
  •  Profitable
  • Fast growth
  • With a repetitive need for capital
  • Operating primarily in industries that include Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Real Estate and Technology

Investment banking services Skyway Capital Markets provides include Corporate Finance (private placements, public offerings, M&A advisory services and debt origination), Restructuring, Valuation, Fairness Opinions and Debtor in Possession Financing (DIP).

Traber, chairman, and Overby, senior managing director, are joined at the executive level by Michael A. Freeman, senior managing director & president of wholesale securities distribution; Michael Faraone, managing director; Tracy Mousner, vice president of capital markets and Russell Hunt, chief executive officer.

"Everyone associated with Skyway Capital Markets has extensive experience advising clients in what we know is an underserved niche," says Traber.  "We look forward to working with clients as well as family offices, lenders, attorneys, financial advisers, specialty financial organizations and other professionals to help these business owners achieve their financial goals."
