Fried Frank Adds Finance Partner in New York

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced that Adam Summers has joined the Firm as a partner in the Finance practice, based in New York.

Summers' practice focuses on credit and capital markets transactions. He has extensive experience advising investment banking clients and debt funds throughout the deal process, from the early stages through closing and funding. He also has represented various corporate clients on a wide range of financing transactions.

"With his diverse experience in financial matters, Adam is a welcome addition to our very active Finance practice as we continue to counsel our clients on their most sophisticated matters," David J. Greenwald, chairman of Fried Frank, said. "His commitment to long-term client relationships and excellent client service are attributes we value highly in the Firm."

Summers represents banks and commercial lenders in both syndicated credit facilities and high-yield bond financings related to leveraged buyouts and other acquisitions, and provides ongoing counsel to agents and arrangers under those facilities. He has particular expertise negotiating commitment letters in connection with acquisition financings. Mr. Summers has worked on numerous subscription credit facilities for private equity and debt funds.

Before joining Fried Frank, Summers was a partner in Cadwalader's New York office. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from Yeshiva University. Mr. Summers is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
