NXT Capital announced that Cary Verasco has joined the company’s Corporate Finance Group as Director, Northeast Region. Verasco’s responsibilities include originating and leading senior secured credit facilities for private equity sponsors and middle market companies in the Northeast United States.

Verasco  joins NXT Capital from Jefferies LLC, where he was most recently a Senior Vice President in the Financial Sponsors Group and served as coverage officer for a broad range of private equity clients. Prior to that, he held a number of roles at Jefferies LLC, including Vice President in the Financial Sponsors Group, Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Group and several other positions within the Investment Banking Division.
