June 16, 2017, 07:13 AM

Anisha Malhotra has joined GPB Capital as a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. Malhotra is a member of GPB Capital’s Accounting and Finance Team, and is responsible for handling all debt financing needs across the firm’s portfolio of operating companies.

“We remain committed to enhancing operations, collaboration, and engagement throughout our organization as we continue to grow,” said David Gentile, Founder and CEO of GPB Capital. “Anisha’s wide range of debt financing expertise will help us place our income-producing, middle-market operating companies in a stronger position to achieve their long-term goals. Her insights also enable us and our operating company partners to potentially deliver greater distributions to the investors who directly benefit from their success.”

Malhotra is based in GPB Capital’s New York office and reports to Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer Macrina Kgil. Her role will be focused on leading the firm’s capital markets activities, including structuring and executing acquisition financings, refinancings, and amendments for GPB Capital’s operating companies. Prior to joining GPB Capital, Malhotra spent over 10 years at Goldman Sachs, where she was a senior member of the firm’s Debt Underwriting Group and held similar responsibilities. Malhotra began her career at JPMorgan Chase, where she helped identify acquisition targets and formulate international strategy for the firm.

“I look forward to utilizing the financing market to capitalize on the strength of GPB Capital’s high-quality operating companies,” said Malhotra. “By seamlessly managing debt financing for all of the firm’s operating companies, we can facilitate improved returns to our community of investors and position ourselves for continued success as we look at additional investment opportunities.”
