Healthcare Management Partners, LLC (HMP), a turnaround and consulting firm specializing in healthcare, announced the recent addition of Ronald Winters, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare restructuring. Winters will establish a presence in New York for the firm, and will build and lead HMP’s New York based team.

Winters joins HMP directly from Alvarez & Marsal where he worked for the past 17 years and was a Managing Director in its healthcare industry group. HMP is based in Nashville, TN, a geographically centered national hub for healthcare. From his New York location, Winters will serve HMP clients across the nation.

Over his career, Winters has specialized in advising companies and creditors with healthcare holdings in financial and operational turnarounds and restructurings. In these matters, he is often brought in to act as Chief Restructuring Officer or Chief Operating Officer. He has also had significant experience in labor relations, retiree health and pension matters.  In all, he has more than 25 years of experience as a restructuring and financial professional and has participated in a broad range of cases in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court.

Winters holds a B.S. in Business & Economics from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from the Lubin Graduate School of Business at Pace University.
