Natixis announced the appointment of Christopher Dorsett as Executive Director, Leveraged Finance Senior Originator Americas. He reports to Kevin Alexander, Head of Global Markets & Investment Banking Americas.

Dorsett is responsible for the origination and execution of high yield bond and leveraged loan financings for corporate and sponsor clients in conjunction with new acquisition and leveraged finance opportunities supporting leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, acquisitions and refinancings.

Alexander said, “We continue to expand our leveraged finance franchise, and look to Chris, with his broad experience and proven track record, to help us strengthen our private equity and sponsor finance presence.”

Dorsett has more than 16 years of financial services experience, most recently at Deutsche Bank Securities, where he worked for eight years and was a Director, Leveraged Finance. He spent the first nine years of his career at JP Morgan and had been a Vice President, Syndicated and Leveraged Finance. Mr. Dorsett holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS and BA from Rutgers University.
