Sterling National Bank announced that Steven Levi has joined the bank as Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director of Commercial Banking. Levi will be based at Sterling’s Melville office and report to Ed Blaskey, Executive Vice President and Long Island Market President.

Levi was most recently First Vice President of Commercial Banking at Valley National Bank, where he worked with a diverse portfolio of middle market, non-profit and corporate banking clients providing lending and deposit services. Prior to joining Valley National Bank, Levi held several positions with other banking organizations earlier in his career.

Levi received his MBA from Adelphi University and holds his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University.
