Investment bankers Jay C. Jacquin, James S. Hadfield and Joseph A. Weissglass are pleased to announce the launch of Configure Partners LLC, an investment bank and financial advisory firm specializing in financing transactions, balance sheet solutions and distressed mergers and acquisitions.
With offices in Atlanta and New York, Configure Partners serves the needs of borrowers and constituents of privately held, sponsored, and publicly traded companies, managing transactions up to $250 million.
With over four decades of combined experience in credit placement and resolution, Configure's Jay Jacquin, James Hadfield and Joseph Weissglass have executed more than 75 transactions representing over $10 billion of value across a variety of industries including power & energy, industrials, healthcare, consumer products, retail and media & technology.
“We share the common perspective that true client service involves listening first and developing a custom solution to each engagement rather than a one size fits all approach,” said the partners in a joint statement.
“Unlike other investment banks in our market, the Configure team is actively involved across the credit relationship, from raising capital to resolving credit challenges -- all under a unified practice. This approach mirrors the structure of our borrower and credit investor clients and allows us to leverage the knowledge and relationships developed across the entirety of the credit lifecycle.”
The partners specifically acknowledged the importance of relationships with other professionals for their success. “The relationships we enjoy with counsel, turnaround and operational consultants in our transactions is immensely important to us. These professionals, alongside our friends in the sponsor, bank and credit fund community have been tremendous partners over many years. Configure Partners is a reality in large part owing to their support and we look forward to continued success alongside them.”
Prior to forming Configure Partners, Jacquin, Hadfield, and Weissglass worked together in the Special Situations practice at Guggenheim Securities. The senior team’s prior experience includes similar roles at Houlihan Lokey, Cerberus, Barclays, Alvarez & Marsal, and Morgan Joseph.
