SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (STRH), the corporate and investment bank of SunTrust Banks, Inc. announced it has hired Ken Brandes as a Managing Director in its Energy Investment Banking group.  Brandes will lead midstream sector coverage for the firm from STRH’s Houston, TX office and brings 20 years of industry experience, having worked as an investment banker, principal investor and operating partner in the U.S. midstream sector.

Brandes joins STRH from Seaport Global Securities in New York, NY and his prior experience includes a principal investing role at Brookfield Infrastructure Partners and investment banking at Macquarie Capital and Citigroup.
