Crystal Financial LLC, a provider of debt capital solutions to middle market companies, announced the promotions of five of its team members. Cheryl Carner and Evren Ozargun have been promoted to Senior Managing Director. Tyler Harrington and Kenny Smith have been promoted to Managing Director. Case Fedor has been promoted to Assistant Vice President.

Carner joined Crystal in 2011 and is responsible for sourcing and structuring asset based and cash flow transactions. She has over 25 years of experience in business development serving in roles at GE Franchise Finance, CapitalSource and Fleet Retail Finance. She received her B.B.A. from the Isenberg School of Management at UMASS Amherst and her M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin School at Babson College.

Since joining Crystal at its formation in 2006, Ozargun has led numerous new underwritings and portfolio accounts across a wide range of industries. In his current role, Ozargun manages a team of underwriters and portfolio managers and works closely with Crystal’s Chief Credit Officer and its business development officers. Prior to Crystal he worked at Wells Fargo Retail Finance, and at The Ozer Group. Ozargun received his B.S. from Babson College.

Harrington joined Crystal in 2010 from Cambridge Associates and focuses on underwriting new debt transactions and managing an active portfolio. He serves on the board of the Northeast Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association®. He received a B.S. in Finance from Bentley University and is a CFA® charterholder.

After serving on Crystal’s underwriting team since 2011, Smith became a Business Development Officer in 2015. He is responsible for building relationships with key deal referral sources throughout the Northeast, Chicago and Los Angeles. Smith serves on the board of the Northeast Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association® as well as the New England Chapter of the Commercial Finance Association®. He received his B.A from Harvard University and his M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin School at Babson College.

Prior to joining Crystal in 2016, Fedor worked within the ABL Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. At Crystal, he evaluates new transaction opportunities and provides research and analytical support on underwritings in addition to portfolio management. Fedor received his B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Kentucky.
