BMO Capital Markets launched a U.S. Power, Utilities and Infrastructure (PU&I) Investment and Corporate Banking group.
The senior members of the new group will be Paul McNutt as head of PU&I, Andrew Rosenbaum as managing director in PU&I and Andriy Falenchuk as managing director in Mergers and Acquisitions focusing on PU&I. All three will be based in New York.
All three previously served in a U.S. PU&I franchise and have experience across corporate sell-side and buy-side transactions, asset sales and acquisitions, bridge loans, equity and equity-linked financings, high yield and other debt capital markets transactions.
McNutt will work closely with Pierre-Olivier Perras, head of Canadian and International PU&I, to coordinate global coverage efforts across the group. They will both report to John Armstrong, deputy head of Investment Banking.
“PU&I is a significant sector in the U.S. and globally. Our investment in our PU&I business and in the sector will significantly expand our coverage footprint in the U.S. and beyond,” Armstrong said. “These individuals bring a relentless focus on delivering differentiated solutions to their clients and extensive industry experience. We are excited to welcome them to the firm.”
