Alan Samsky has joined Harney Management Partners as a managing director fter 30 years serving the financial sector in various leadership roles with major financial consulting firms.

At HMP, Smasky will assist middle market clients with a wide range of service offerings, including, financial and operational turnaround advisory, crisis management, asset and business purchases and dispositions, and forensic accounting, each of which often involves some degree of distress.

Prior to joining HMP, he worked with Silverman Consulting representing troubled companies, secured lenders, Chapter 128 Receivers and Assignees for the Benefit of Creditors. Prior to that, he held several positions including managing director at Moglia Advisors, another turnaround and management consulting practice, and as director of Corporate Restructuring Services at American Express Tax & Business Services.

Samsky is based in Chicago and will support HMP’s national practice serving middle-market clients.
