Cedar Croft Consulting, in its capacity as financial advisor, structures and secured a $17MM senior secured revolving and term loan credit facility for the turnaround of a large family-owned retailer and wholesaler tile distributor in Los Angeles, California.
Cedar Croft Consulting, a management consulting firm that assists mid-market clients in the manufacturing, distribution, retail and service provider industry sectors located throughout North America, has structured and secured a $17MM revolving credit facility for Los Angeles-based Walker Zanger to support the organization’s financing goal for its strategic business plan. The family-owned international company distributes ceramic, granite, marble and limestone tiles and slabs to wholesalers and retail customers servicing a very affluent luxury tile and stone market for new home construction and remodeling.
Cedar Croft Consulting was brought in to secure the company’s necessary financing. The engagement was managed by Cedar Croft Consulting President, and Managing Director, Patrick Walsh who reviewed the company-prepared business plan, financial projections, historical financial information and existing lender arrangements. Walsh developed a loan structure to support the business plan and drafted a proposed lender’s term sheet. Upon negotiating and securing term sheets from selected lenders, Walsh recommended the most appropriate choice for the company.
According to Patrick Walsh, “Understanding the critical elements of Walker Zanger’s business plan and financing needs was a key component of this engagement. With Cedar Croft’s knowledge of the middle market lending community, we were able to quickly identify a number of suitable and interested lenders,”
