Robbins, Salomon & Patt, Ltd. (RSP), a full-service law firm in the Chicagoland area, is saddened by the recent passing of partner Robert J. Trizna.
A brilliant, passionate, and successful trial lawyer in the practice areas of business representation and labor and employment, Bob had been a partner at RSP since 2009. He was admired and respected by his fellow attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel. He was known as much for his comprehensive knowledge of the law and humorous wit as his ability to express his earnest opinions in both professional and personal settings.
He also was a wonderful mentor throughout his legal career, training young associates about the intricacy of the law and to become highly
skilled practitioners.
“Bob was talented and skillful, not only in handling litigation matters, but in drafting employment agreements and counseling in matters to prevent points of dispute. He had a strong, analytical mind as a lawyer, applying his talents to literally every firm matter that he handled,” said Richard L. Gayle, CEO.
Alan J. Wolf, President, said “Bob leaves a legacy of professionalism in the legal community. He fought furiously and lost graciously in court matters. He had a breadth of experience that allowed him to effectively litigate a myriad of business issues in both federal and state courts.”
Trizna was a graduate of the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. He received a B.A in English from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN where he was a passionate alumnus.
