Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announced that Osman Khan, a seasoned financial services professional, has joined its Transaction Advisory Group as a managing director. Khan is based in New York.
Formerly with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Transaction Services practice, Khan brings more than 15 years of experience providing mergers and acquisitions due diligence and other advisory services to financial services clients. In his new role at A&M, he will focus on pre- and post-acquisition due diligence and divestiture services for strategic and financial investors, across the broader financial services sector.

Khan has been involved in numerous mergers and acquisitions transactions, providing buy-side and sell-side due diligence expertise to strategic and financial investors. He has led transactions involving investment banks, global and regional commercial banks, mortgage companies, alternative investment managers (including private equity firms, hedge funds and secondary fund of fund managers), structured and life settlement companies, leasing companies (including small ticket and aircraft leasing firms), consumer and commercial finance companies (including non-prime specialty lenders), community banks, private banks and wealth managers, broker-dealers, insurance brokers, exchanges, prepaid card issuers, and other non-bank financial institutions.
