December 02, 2019, 08:50 AM

SierraConstellation Partners, LLC (SCP), a national interim management and advisory firm to middle-market companies in transition, announced that it has hired three professionals to join the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters. The new additions reflect SCP’s deep commitment to its team, growth, and focus on being the premier firm serving the middle market.

Rebecca Waits joins SCP as Chief People Officer, focusing on professional development and building a world-class culture by implementing strategic and innovative solutions to SCP’s employee structure. Rebecca has over 20 years of experience in talent management, culture and engagement, most recently as the Chief People & Culture Officer at PMK-BNC. Rebecca is a natural mentor, having previously served as the Chair of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Interpublic Group Women’s Leadership Network promoting the advancement, retention and recruitment of women.

Derrick Wong joins the firm as a Talent Acquisition Manager, responsible for all the firm’s recruiting strategies, processes and talent sourcing. In addition to performing these functions at SCP, Derrick will provide recruiting advice and services to the firm’s clients in need of personnel. Derrick joins SCP from an international consulting and advisory firm, where he was a Campus Recruiting Manager responsible for recruiting new college graduates and senior professionals for the Western Region.

Brett Kuzniar joins as a Finance and Accounting Manager overseeing the firm’s financial and accounting operations, financial statements, and key performance indicators. Prior to joining SCP, Brett was a financial analyst at a national law firm and held a variety of roles at Northern Trust in Chicago.

“We are thrilled to have Rebecca, Derrick and Brett join the SCP team,” said Larry Perkins, SCP’s founder and CEO. “We have grown so much in the last few years, and it is essential that we continue to focus on developing the amazing team and culture that we have created over the years. To remain competitive with the best firms in the industry, we need to continue bringing in the best talent for our team, as well as supporting our clients in finding the right talent that can help them navigate turbulent times. The three roles are closely interconnected and will advance our mission of becoming the best firm out there.”

In addition to these three hires, SCP has made a series of key appointments throughout 2019, including hiring Basil Karampelas to head the firm’s Houston office, hiring private equity veteran Carl Moore as a Managing Director in Dallas, and adding David Casariego as a Director in the firm’s Boston office.
