Focus Management Group, a nationwide turnaround and restructuring firm, announced that Andrew Jarvis has joined the company. Jarvis will serve as a Senior Managing Director out of the firm’s new Pasadena, California office and will complement the firm’s growing demand for its turnaround management and corporate restructuring services.

Jarvis has a strong financial and executive background and an array of skills which have served him well as a consultant, as a financial professional, and as a banker. His expertise includes, financial analysis, valuation, credit review, transaction, due diligence, loan restructuring, bankruptcy, management, and negotiation. Andrew’s experience most recently includes executive roles in the Special Assets/Credits Group for various lenders and investors, where he managed distressed and substandard rated commercial loans with the objective of loss mitigation, recovery, and loan & capital restructuring.

Jarvis has experience in a variety of industries including technology, manufacturing, entertainment, and healthcare. He creatively and successfully resolved numerous distressed credits with excellent results through a variety of outcomes, including note sales, liquidation, and modifications and amendments.
He was instrumental in negotiating terms for repayment, bank and regulatory reporting, and portfolio forecasting.

Prior to working in banking, Jarvis worked as a restructuring and turn around consultant assisting in bankruptcies, turnaround situations, and transaction advisory services. He has also provided valuation services and worked with companies to develop investment and merger and acquisition strategies.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business.
