Michael Antovski has been announced COO of UHY Advisors in Farmington Hills. He will be responsible for the oversight of the firm’s national shared services including finance, information technology, marketing, corporate compliance, and human resources.

He will also be active in all facets of the firm’s acquisition initiatives and help execute the board of directors’ strategic vision.

Antovski has more than 20 years of experience working with professional firms, including a Wall Street law firm, a multi-national accounting firm, and a number of middle-market focused law firms. He was also a lead tax partner on mergers and acquisitions and had taken part in corporate restructuring initiatives.

His experience extends to working with entrepreneurs, private equity firms, and financial service organizations, which has helped him develop operational experience.

Antovski graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University. He received his juris doctor degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and earned his LL.M in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
