Chiron Financial announced that Jimmy Board has joined as a Director in Houston. Board brings significant commercial real estate investment banking, capital markets and management expertise to Chiron Financial. Co-founder Scott Johnson commented “Chiron has long incorporated real estate financing as a component of its activity with companies in various industries. Jimmy will lead our expansion of that practice across numerous industries on an international basis, and will enable us to better serve companies in the commercial real estate industry.
Board brings significant commercial real estate investment banking, capital markets and management expertise to Chiron Financial and will help expand the firm's commercial real estate capital capabilities across numerous industries on an international basis.
Prior to joining Chiron Financial, he worked, JAB Corp Consulting, LLC where he advised firms on real estate debt and equity financing, acquisition and disposition underwriting and valuation, as well as workout loan documentation. Prior to JAB, he worked for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) where he was a Managing Director. He led a team of Vice Presidents, Associates and Analysts in helping clients achieve their capital investment and asset management goals. While at JLL, Mr. Board procured over $20 billion in capital placements and was named to the “JLL Top Achievers” list from 2013 – 2018. In addition, Mr. Board was a recipient of the Houston Business Journals “Top 40 Under 40” award in 2016.
He also worked for CBRE | Debt & Equity Finance where he was a Vice President. Responsibilities included originating commercial debt and equity financing, asset and portfolio-based underwriting, strategic planning, profit and loss statement analysis, expense reconciliation and debt test volatility analysis.
Mr. Board began his career at Accenture Global Consulting, where he was a Financial Analyst working with companies such as Bank of America, Wachovia and Lockheed Martin helping design and implement strategic initiatives.
Board received his BS (Business Finance and Marketing) - Cum Laude from Marist College.
