Veritas Financial Partners announces the hiring of Scott I. Kaplan as Vice President, Underwriting. Kaplan is based out of the Boca Raton headquarters and is responsible for due diligence, underwriting, structuring and execution of transactions.

Kaplan brings twenty plus years of corporate finance experience to Veritas Financial Partners. Prior to joining Veritas, Kaplan worked as an investment banker at Vaupen Financial Advisors in Miami, covering lower middle market companies. He also spent 9 years at Deutsche Bank in New York, culminating in his role as a vice president in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group covering primarily gaming and lodging companies.

Kaplan is a graduate of Duke University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies. He is active in the local community serving on various committees at Miami Jewish Health Systems.
