The Association for Corporate Growth Chicago (ACG Chicago), a professional organization driving middle market corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions, has elected its 2013 Board of Directors. Seven of the 29 Directors are new to the Board - bringing unique vision and leadership to already nationally known base of corporate leaders.
These new Directors bring extensive investment banking, commercial banking, financial, accounting, corporate management and legal expertise to help ACG Chicago build markets, lend financial and management expertise, and increase stakeholder value. They include Vice Presidents Terry Keating (Managing Director, Amherst Partners), John McGuire (Senior Vice President, Citibank), and Jeffrey Mengel (Partner, Plante Moran), and Directors Warren Lawson (VP Sales, ARI), Craig McCrohon (Partner, Burke Warren), and Sherman Wright, (Managing Partner, Common Ground Marketing).
The 2013 Executive Committee includes President Tom Turmell (Managing Director, TMT Capital Partners), Executive Vice President Suzanne Saxman (Partner, Seyfarth Shaw), Secretary Venita Fields (Senior Managing Director, Smith Whiley & Company), Treasurer Murray Lessinger (Managing Partner, White Oak Group), Past President Dustin Weinberger (Senior Vice President, GE Capital) and CEO Craig Miller (CEO, ACG Chicago).
Current Board members taking management and leadership roles in our Network development are Corporate Chair David Heinke (Business Development Executive, Grant Thornton), Entrepreneurship Chair Dan Howell (Senior Managing Director, Mesirow) joined by Co-chair John Bintz (Managing Director, Valuation Research Corporation), International Chair Mark Lanyon (Director, Morningstar), Private Equity Chair Ryan Rassin (Director, LBC Credit Partners), and Private Equity Research Chair Steven Bernard. Over 100 volunteers join these leaders in building entrepreneurship, increasing private equity investment, understanding international markets, and improving corporate strategy and management.
Eleven additional returning Directors are also actively engaged in developing new initiatives as well as our conference development to advance investment, financial stability, corporate growth and ultimately stakeholder value for our members and the community.
