TCI Business Capital Promotes Two Employees

TCI Business Capital responds to its continued growth by promoting Nathan Appel and Corey Burlend. “Both Nathan and Corey have been a key part to the continued success of TCI and we are thrilled to promote them both to these valuable positions,” said Daniel Robbins, CEO of TCI Business Capital. “ TCI is confident that Nathan and Corey will continue to play an important role in helping TCI’s customers pursue their business goals,” said Eric Schoch, Executive Vice President of TCI Business Capital.

Nathan Appel has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations. Nathan will continue to implement industry best practices and work flow processes to ensure efficiencies and quality assurance for TCIs multi-site operations. He has over fifteen years of experience in Operations Management, Quality Assurance and Customer Service. Prior to joining TCI in 2011, Nathan held Operations Management roles at Thompson Prometric, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, GE Commercial Finance, Capella University and Wells Fargo Bank. Nathan has a BA in Operations Management from Concordia University and a MBA from Augsburg College. Nathan has also served in both the US Army and the Minnesota National Guard.

Corey Burlend has been promoted to Vice President, Relationship Manager. Corey specializes in TCI Business Capital Oilfield Division. He will continue to maintain a high quality of customer service while managing his diverse portfolio. Since joining TCI in 2000, Corey has held numerous positions, including; Account Manager, Operations Team Lead, Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management at Metropolitan State University.
