Gateway Commercial Finance, LLC, a South Florida based invoice factoring company, announced it is a recipient of the INC 500/5000 for 2013, representing its nomination two years in a row as one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. The list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy - America’s independent entrepreneurs.

“In 2012, we re-committed ourselves to the core fundamentals that helped us earn this prestigious award. We doubled our operations center, added additional staff, developed new client centered infrastructure and increased our credit facility to support new business initiatives. We’re fully invested in supporting the working capital needs of small businesses,” said Marc J. Marin, Managing Director.

Gateway Commercial Finance, LLC provides accounts receivable funding (a.k.a. invoice factoring) to a wide variety of businesses across the United States. Factoring allows a business immediate access to critical working capital without having to wait an increasingly long time to receive payment. Factoring is becoming an increasingly popular funding vehicle given traditional bank lending criteria is becoming increasingly stringent to businesses with storied credit situations. In late 2012, Gateway launched two new initiatives. The first was a nearly confidential factoring product which has contributed to an increase in new business and higher client retention and the second was the launch of Sentinel Portfolio Solutions.

“To be recognized two years in a row is a validation of the hard work and dedication our team members put in each and every day. This year’s list is very impressive and to have earned a spot next to Boise Cascade, CDW and past alumni such as Microsoft, Zappos and Timberland demonstrates that our formula of hard work, perseverance and mission critical thinking pays dividends,” says Marin.

The first official INC 500/5000 list began in 1982 to honor and recognize the best in fast growing privately held companies in the U.S. Rankings for this list are largely based on year over year revenue growth.
