Abacus Finance Promotes Three; Lee is Named Vice President

Abacus Finance Group announced three promotions that are effective immediately:

Joseph Lee was promoted from Senior Associate to Vice President; Jacob Wise was elevated from Analyst to Associate; and, Austin Rendell received a promotion from Analyst to Associate.

Joseph Lee joined Abacus Finance in 2014 as an analyst and works as part of the investment team in structuring, underwriting, executing, monitoring, and valuing investments for the firm. Previously, he was an Analyst at GE Capital and began his career at General Electric in the financial management program. Joseph earned a B.S. in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.    
 
Jacob Wise joined Abacus Finance in 2019 as an Analyst and works as part of the investment team in the structuring, underwriting and execution of new investments. He also performs various portfolio monitoring and valuation roles. Previously, he was an Analyst at BMO Capital Markets in its Leveraged Finance group. Jacob earned a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.    
 
Austin Rendell, who joined Abacus Finance in 2019 as an Analyst, works as part of the investment team in the structuring, underwriting, and execution of new investments. He also performs various portfolio monitoring and valuation roles. Previously, he was an Analyst at BMO Harris Bank in its Food & Consumer group. Austin earned a BS from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
