Mr. Vaid’s notable global scale assignments include:

  • Participating in series of real estate fund, joint-venture, and direct investment transactions both on the buy and sell side.
  • Advising a large international pension fund on build-to-core investment thesis and acquisition of a multi-million-dollar direct U.S. real estate transaction in the Greater New York area.
  • Providing complex advisory services to an investors committee by identifying $70 million in potential cash-flows and $40 million in unrealized present value across 270 real estate investment positions within their portfolio.
  • Deploying platform company creation and consolidation strategies for one of the largest real estate private equity managers.
  • Leading assessments to optimize front office operating models, cost takeout, and EBITDA improvement opportunities for large, mid, and small cap financial institutions.

“Hameer is highly respected throughout the private equity community for his ability to turn real estate investment opportunities into reality,” said Hunt Holsomback, Managing Director with A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice leading its Corporate Real Estate Advisory Services group. “Hameer’s joining expands our offering of guiding real estate focused investors through the transaction lifecycle to maximize value.”

“The commercial real estate industry is undergoing significant disruption that is impacting how deals are structured and how financing is created,” said Jeffrey Klein, Managing Director with A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice. “Hameer’s innovative thinking and comprehensive understanding of the sector’s complexities dovetails with our leadership, action, results approach for helping clients initiate transactions with significant long-term benefits.”

Before joining A&M, Mr. Vaid spent six years with PwC’s Real Estate Advisory practice in New York, where he led engagements covering strategy, operations, and digital initiatives for asset and wealth management sector clients. Prior to that, he served 10 years as a Senior Vice President of asset management with Urban American, a real estate private equity firm in the Greater New York area, and two years as an Associate with GE Capital’s Wealth Income Management group.

Mr. Vaid earned a bachelor’s degree from Institute of Management Studies, India, and an MBA from SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University.
