Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) appointed John McLean, III as a Managing Director, based in Atlanta, in the firm’s Healthcare Industry Group. Mr. McLean’s two decades of experience transforming health systems advances A&M’s expanding capability to address the evolving needs of its healthcare provider clients.
McLean has spent the bulk of his 20-year career designing and executing multi-year transformational roadmaps in partnership with C-suite leaders for integrated health systems across the country. He has led large-scale operational improvements, strategic repositioning initiatives and successful financial turnarounds. His clients include non-profit integrated health systems, stand-alone community-based organizations, regional healthcare alliances and academic medical centers.
He has collaborated with health systems to support strategic and financial goals across multi-disciplinary workstreams, including physician enterprise optimization, care transformation and continuum redesign, value-based capability adoption, cost structure improvement and workforce optimization, marketing and outreach, revenue enhancement, strategic growth and digital health transformation.
