Monroe Capital was selected as the recipient of three Private Debt Investor (“PDI”) awards, including the 2020 Lower Mid-Market Lender of the Year; Lender of the Year; and CLO Manager of the Year awards, in the Americas. PDI is a global independent publication based in London covering the private debt and private equity industries.
The Private Debt Investor Awards are determined annually through a reader poll and aim to recognize the contributions of industry participants to the development of the private debt asset class. The awards recognize firms in three geographic regions: the Americas; Europe; and Asia-Pacific. Winners were selected by eligible voters among the private debt, private equity and institutional investor communities.
“Private Debt Investor congratulates the Monroe Capital team on its award wins in what were very competitive categories. These awards are voted 'by the market, for the market,' so they are a genuine reflection of the views of the asset class in a year when the number of votes cast was higher than ever before,” said Andy Thomson, Senior Editor of Private Debt Investor.
“We are honored to be recognized by our investors, business partners and peers for all three categories -- Lower Mid-Market Lender of the Year, Lender of the Year, and CLO Manager of the Year, in the Americas region,” said Ted Koenig, President and CEO of Monroe. “We are especially honored to be included with such a select group of other high quality asset managers. For over 17 years, Monroe has provided consistent, risk-adjusted returns with minimal correlation for our investors and shareholders.”
