First Business Bank promoted Zak Showalter to Commercial Banking Officer.

Zak Showalter joined First Business Bank as a Credit Analyst in 2017 shortly after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in Finance, Investments & Banking and Risk Management & Insurance. In 2019, Zak was promoted to Commercial Banking Associate and most recently served as Senior Commercial Banking Associate.

A Division 1 basketball player at UW-Madison from 2012-2017, Zak was awarded UW Student-Athlete of the Year, was named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team, and received the UW Unsung Hero Award. Throughout college, Zak was active in the community, volunteering as part of Badgers Give Back, the UW Athletics community outreach program bringing student-athletes and the Madison community together.
