First Business Bank hired Willem (Warren) Baas as Vice President – SBA Lending.

Baas graduated with a business degree from Baylor University and began his career as a physical commodities trader, while helping friends and family develop business concepts in his free time. He and his wife, Kelsey, funded and started her physical therapy clinic in Waco, TX, prompting a move from Houston, TX. The experience inspired him to make a career change to help business owners succeed and grow. SBA lending was a perfect fit and natural extension of his ability and instincts. His experience as both a small business lender and a small business owner gives him unique insight into the daily struggles of the small business owner.
