ORIX Corporation USA (ORIX USA) announced the appointment of Jordan Robinson as Managing Director and Head of Investor Solutions within its asset management business. Robinson joins the firm from Fairview Capital Group, where he was Senior Partner, Global Syndication and LP Communications. He reports to Charlie Gilroy, Chief Operating Officer of ORIX USA’s asset management business and is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Robinson has over 23 years of experience in investment management, with a focus on fundraising, business development, deal syndication and investor relations. In his new role, he will oversee capital raising for ORIX USA’s asset management business and be responsible for business development and fundraising initiatives as well as the expansion of the firm’s strategic investment partnerships with institutional investors. ORIX USA and its family of companies have $83 billion of assets under control, including $26 billion in assets under management, $47 billion in assets under servicing and administration, and $11 billion in proprietary assets as of June 2021.

Prior to his role at Fairview Capital, Mr. Robinson was Senior Partner and Chief Client Officer for the Bercomm Group, providing fundraising and investor relations advisory services to emerging managers and companies in the energy infrastructure and impact investment sectors. Previously he served as Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations at ECP and also held senior roles in investor relations and business development at AIG Investments, J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC and Pomona Capital. Mr. Robinson holds a BA in International Politics from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Finance from Georgetown University.
