Boathouse Capital Promotes Three Investment Professionals

February 16, 2022, 07:00 AM

Boathouse Capital announced three promotions in 2022. Colin Raws has been promoted to Partner. Matt Carey and Matt Pulos have been elevated to Senior Associates.

Colin Raws has been promoted to Partner, where he’ll start to play a larger role inside the organization. Colin was the firm's second hire and has been with Boathouse for over a decade. Colin was brought on to build out the business development function from the ground up and quickly implemented a tech-enabled data-driven process to manage the firm's business development efforts. Colin has nurtured countless relationships and sourced numerous transactions over the years, which have contributed immensely to the success of the organization. Going forward, Colin will not only build out, manage and nurture new LP relationships, but he’ll also be looked upon, as a Partner, to be a key member of the team to professionalize our outreach and solidify long-term relationships with LPs.

Matt Carey has been promoted to Senior Associate. Matt joined the firm by way of Fairmount Partners where he spent two years working on a myriad of transactions. During Matt’s time at Boathouse, he’s been instrumental in working closely with the portfolio to create value while being an active board member on several portfolio companies.

Matt Pulos has also been promoted to Senior Associate. Matt joined the firm in early 2021 and has risen to rank of Senior Associate during his first year. He's shown a strong understanding of the firm's investment strategy and has played a key role in making several investments since his arrival. He comes by way of RSM where he worked within Transaction Advisory.

Boathouse is proud to announce these three well-deserved promotions. Colin, Matt and Matt have continuously outperformed expectations and we’re confident that they will continue to be valuable contributors to the success of the firm. It's been a great ride thus far and we couldn't have done it without developing talent from within our own four walls. We pride ourselves on core values such as honesty, dedication and teamwork and these three have demonstrated these qualities on a daily basis.
