FGI Promotes Habib and Brachot to Top Positions

October 24, 2013, 07:29 AM

FGI announced the promotion of two top executives: Debbie Habib to Global Marketing Director; and Ben Brachot to Director of Sales.

These promotions celebrate Habib’s and  Brachot’s expertise and proven success in driving FGI’s position as a leader in cross border lending. As FGI continues to grow domestically and internationally, it will call upon their industry experience to expand its global presence.

Habib’s new role as FGI’s Global Marketing Director brings her back to New York headquarters to oversee business development and strategic relationships with lenders and intermediaries worldwide. Prior to this, Habib was based out of FGI’s London office and was responsible for developing the UK and European markets. “It has been very exciting to watch FGI grow over the years and I am very happy to work alongside my colleagues on the business development team in taking FGI to new heights as we continue to expand our global footprint,” states Ms. Habib.

In his new position as FGI’s Director of Sales, Brachot will be responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical business plans to accelerate FGI’s international expansion. He steps into this role after almost two years as National Director of Business Development where he oversaw business development in the US and in Europe. His success on a national level has shown that Brachot is perfect to lead FGIs international business expansion team.

“FGI has always held a unique position in the market with its foreign capabilities. I look forward to leading the team as we continue to grow our business and strengthen our relationships with other lenders, private equity, and intermediaries,” states Mr. Brachot.

“Ms. Habib and Mr. Brachot have proven to be important contributors to FGI’s growth and success and we are thrilled to promote them to Senior Management,” says David DiPiero, president and CEO of FGI.
