SLR Credit Solutions Announces Promotions and New Hires

SLR Credit Solutions announced the following promotions and new hires to its team. These individuals will be key contributors to the organization allowing our business to deliver innovative secured debt financings across a wide range of industries including consumer/retail, specialty finance, business services and industrials. 

Joe Wells – MD Business Development

Joe recently joined SLR CS to source, originate and structure new secured debt financings focused on the Mid West and Florida.  He brings 16 years of extensive experience in both the asset-based and recurring revenue software corporate lending markets from his long tenured career at Wells Fargo Capital Finance in both credit and business development.  

Mirko Andric – SMD Co-Head of Underwriting & Portfolio Management 

Mirko began his career at SLR CS in 2011 and is an integral member of the firm’s investment team. In his new role, Mirko joins the SLR CS investment committee and continues his responsibilities in structuring, underwriting and managing new and existing investments, in addition to co-managing the firm’s investment professionals. Mirko’s previous work experience included similar credit roles at RBS Citizens, N.A., Freeport Financial LLC, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, and Banca di Roma.

Josh Franklin – Group CFO - Specialty Lending Verticals

Josh joined SLR CS in 2006 as an underwriter and progressed to team leader.  He then assumed the role of CFO / COO in 2012 and is responsible for all activities related to finance, forecasting, leverage line(s), compliance, IT, and HR.  He is also a member of the SLR CS investment committee. Josh’s role will now expand to include SLR Capital Partners’ other specialty finance verticals including SLR Business Credit, SLR Equipment Finance and SLR Healthcare ABL. Prior to joining SLR CS, Josh held various roles in lending and private equity at Citizens bank.  He is a CPA and CFA charter holder.  

Jack Murphy – AVP Underwriting & Portfolio Management

Jack recently joined SLR CS, and will play an important role in working with deal teams to underwrite and manage new investments as well as undertake portfolio management for existing investments. Prior to joining SLR CS, he held positions in the asset-based and healthcare corporate lending groups at Wells Fargo Commercial Capital and Santander Bank.

Rebecca Tarby – SMD Co-Head of Underwriting & Portfolio Management 

During Rebecca’s 16 years at SLR CS, she has executed many secured debt transactions across a variety of industries and for various purposes, including growth, reorganizations, and other special situations.  Rebecca joins the SLR CS investment committee, and continues her responsibilities in structuring, underwriting and managing new and existing investments, as well as co-managing the firm’s investment professionals. Prior to joining SLR CS, Rebecca held various roles in corporate lending and mergers & acquisitions advisory for Fleet Bank, Comerica Bank and Grant Thornton.
