Ares Commercial Finance (“ACF”) announced that Kristen Holihan has joined its Origination Team as a Managing Director. Based in New York, Ms. Holihan is responsible for business development and origination, with a focus on restructuring, sponsor and direct lending relationships.

Ms. Holihan joins ACF from Bank of America, where she worked for more than 10 years, most recently serving as a Senior Vice President and Senior Business Development Officer in Business Capital. In her role, she was instrumental in identifying, structuring and closing asset-based credit facilities in the middle market and large corporate sectors across a broad range of industries. During her tenure at Bank of America, she also held roles focused on underwriting and leveraged finance.

Ms. Holihan received a B.S. in Finance from Babson College and expects to receive her M.B.A. from the Columbia Business School in 2023. She was honored as a 2021 Winner of the Secured Finance Network’s (SFNet) 40 Under 40 Award.
