Rockland Trust added Slayton Purcell to its Asset Based Lending Team as Vice President, Relationship Manager. In his role, Slayton is responsible for managing a growing portfolio of clients while underwriting and building new relationships.

Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Purcell worked for Pitney Bowes Bank as the Associate Director of Corporate Lending, where he was a vital contributor to the successful buildout of a new loan portfolio in a de novo line of business. Slayton began his banking and lending career with Wells Fargo, where he spent nearly ten years. Starting as a teller, he grew his career and took on expanded responsibilities, and soon after advanced into portfolio management and underwriting for large corporate clients.

Purcell earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from Illinois State University. In addition, during his time at Wells Fargo, he participated in Wells Fargo University taking courses in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, performance, and reporting. Slayton resides with his wife and three children in Pembroke, Massachusetts.
