Provident Bank announced that Aleksei Somarsingh recently joined the Bank’s Plymouth Meeting-based commercial lending team as Vice President and C&I Relationship Manager. Somarsingh is tasked with growing the commercial loan portfolio in Metro Philadelphia counties by offering a variety of commercial products, which include lines of credit, equipment loans, and real estate mortgages. In addition, he will work closely with accounting firms, law firms, intermediaries, and trade associations to source new business.
 
Somarsingh has more than 15 years’ experience in commercial lending. Most recently, he served as a Vice President with Truist Bank. Somarsingh earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Rutgers University.
