McGuireWoods appointed new office leaders in Los Angeles; Austin; Washington, D.C.; Pittsburgh; and Tysons, Virginia.
Tanya Greene has been named office managing partner of the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office. Greene is an accomplished litigator who handles high-profile litigation for some of the world's most prominent corporations. A partner in the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation Department, she serves on McGuireWoods’ national recruiting committee and is the former pro bono leader for the firm’s downtown Los Angeles and Century City offices.
McGuireWoods Consulting’s Holly Deshields is the new office managing professional in Austin, succeeding McGuireWoods partner Peyton Smith. Deshields is a senior vice president with McGuireWoods Consulting and serves as director of the firm’s Texas government relations team. She assists clients with issues related to economic development, transportation, healthcare, finance, and state and local affairs.
Elizabeth Hogan will succeed Todd Mullins as office managing partner of the Washington, D.C., office, effective Aug. 1, 2023. Hogan co-chairs the firm’s Securities Enforcement & Regulatory Counseling Practice Group and serves on the ESG executive committee. She represents clients in complex securities matters, focusing on investigations, regulatory enforcement proceedings and litigation.
Penny Zacharias will become Pittsburgh office managing partner on Sept. 1, 2023, succeeding David Hornyak. Zacharias, a partner in the firm’s Debt Finance Department, represents financial institutions, private credit funds and borrowers in lending transactions. She co-chairs McGuireWoods’ Women in Private Equity & Finance initiative and the firm’s asset-based lending team. She also serves on the firm’s ESG executive committee and national recruiting committee.
In Tysons, Jack L. White will take over for Greg Riegle as office managing partner, effective Sept. 1, 2023. White is a partner in the firm’s Government Investigations & White Collar Litigation Department, focusing on civil litigation, regulatory enforcement and congressional investigations for clients in the defense, technology, federal contracting and other business sectors.
