Olson Joins BerryDunn to Expand Transaction Advisory Services

November 22, 2023, 07:14 AM

BerryDunn, a full-service assurance, tax, and consulting firm, announced the hiring of Erik Olson as the dedicated practice lead for Transaction Advisory Services.

The team provides in-depth financial data analysis to help businesses plan and structure for the future. According to Seth Webber, Valuation Practice Group Principal, “Erik has a long career specializing in project finance, M&A, and corporate finance transactions. His unique skill set deepens our ability to meet the strategic business needs of our expanding customer base.”

BerryDunn clients have come to expect the expertise of a national firm coupled with the personalized service of a small practice. With the expansion of the firm's transaction advisory services and the addition of Olson to the team of senior leaders in the Valuation Practice Group, BerryDunn is building a deep bench of finance experts to provide a comprehensive understanding of investment, valuation, credit, tax, and risk.

“I am honored to be a part of the breadth of financial, accounting, and tax knowledge that BerryDunn brings to its clients,” says Olson. “The formalization and expansion of our transaction advisory services builds on a decades-long successful track record at BerryDunn. With this expansion, our integrated and focused team delivers efficient transactions and capital support services and financial due diligence reporting all tailored to meet each client’s needs.”

BerryDunn partners with privately held companies, along with bankers, lawyers, and investors to help clients understand the strengths and weaknesses of the transaction or acquisition target. The Valuation Practice Group has consulted on merger & acquisition, project development, and succession projects with enterprise values of $5 million to $800 million.
