Previously, Ms. Van Horn led the health management and operations consulting practice for Optum Advisory Services, where she developed and delivered best-in-class solutions to drive measurable performance improvement in Medicare Advantage Star Ratings and Medicaid Quality incentive programs, healthcare effectiveness data and information set (HEDIS®) and consumer assessment of healthcare providers and systems (CAHPS®).
Craig Savage, said, “Mallory’s expertise and in-depth industry knowledge enhances our ability to help healthcare payers achieve financial and growth goals while navigating a complex landscape and volatile economy. As our practice continues to thrive and evolve, Mallory will be instrumental in guiding clients through ongoing top-line revenue challenges and Star Rating methodology demands.”
Martin McGahan, Head of A&M’s Healthcare Industry Group, noted, “ We understand the significant changes in Star Rating methodology that could result in decreased quality bonus payments. Mallory’s appointment furthers our position to help clients proactively prepare for these changes to minimize impact and succeed in this new regulatory environment.”
