CohnReznick announced that Ashish Jalan has joined the firm as President–Global Operations effective April 1, 2024. In this newly created role, Jalan will oversee the resource management, talent development, operational effectiveness, and client service initiatives that will drive the firm’s ongoing offshore expansion. This includes leading CohnReznick’s 850+ member India and Philippines teams and future global expansion initiatives.

Ashish Jalan has more than two decades of global leadership experience spanning India, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Through his roles at Big 4 firms and multinational organizations, he has gained extensive experience developing processes and technical capabilities for onshore and offshore teams. This includes delivering end-to-end solutions for European and U.S. tax compliance, driving strategy, and improving operations. Jalan is well-versed in designing new service offerings, operating various SOX controls, and implementing risk and quality processes.
Prior to joining CohnReznick, Jalan was the India-based Partner and Head of U.S. Business Tax for a Big 4 firm. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Tax, from the University of Calcutta and is a member of the AICPA as well as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
