Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) expanded its CFO Services Group offering with appointment of Managing Directors Gregg Nicoll, Vikas Kumar, and Sean Kracklauer within its Corporate Performance Improvement (CPI) practice. Collectively, the three new Managing Directors bring three-quarters of a century of management consulting, financial and operational expertise to A&M. They have advised the C-suite, CFOs and their leadership teams, including controllers, heads of GBS, FP&A, tax, treasury, audit and finance transformation leaders. Additionally, they have worked across multiple geographies and sectors, including healthcare, retail, consumer and industrial products, financial services, media, broadcasting and entertainment, technology and telecommunications, aerospace and defense, energy, materials and mining, and automotive.
Tiffany Brown , CPI Managing Director in Atlanta and North America Solution Leader of the CFO Services practice, explained, “Our expanded CFO Services offering is driven by market demand, forecasted at a double-digit annual growth rate over the next few years. The market is dynamic and ripe with opportunities to maximize value and drive change. Our talent, solutions and capabilities investments position CFO Services as a responsive long-term partner to help capitalize on those opportunities. Greg, Vikas and Sean further our ability to address mid-market and global CFOs’ evolving innovation needs by designing and assisting with the implementation of transformational action plans that achieve the C-suite’s goals.”
Prior to joining A&M:
- Nicoll served as a CFO Advisory Partner with Genpact in New York, where he led finance strategy, strategic benchmarking, target operating model and GBS solutions.
- Kumar served as a North American Finance and Accounting Practice Lead with Infosys. In this role, he drove finance transformation, including operational excellence, digital enablement, strategic cost optimization and operating model / global business engagements for mid and large-scale corporations across multiple sectors.

“A&Ms integrated model and freedom from audit conflicts provides the foundation upon which our comprehensive, global CFO Services offering is built,” continued Ms. Brown. “As financial leaders face pressures to digitally transform their organizations amidst a volatile economic backdrop, they are no longer solely financial stewards. The office of the CFO must now serve as a strategic operating partner driving digital enablement at every level, across the enterprise.”
Kracklauer, Kumar and Nicoll, added, “Our backgrounds align with A&M’s operational heritage. We are driven by the same results-oriented approach and striving to drive change. The firm’s track record of developing holistic, comprehensive solutions to clients’ complex problems is a competitive market advantage. We are dedicated to delivering value through A&M’s fact-based approach that boosts bottom-line results through transformative change.”
