Moritt Hock & Hamroff announced the addition of three attorneys continuing the growth that the firm has experienced over the past year. Nafisa Ahmed joins as an Associate in the firm's Not-For-Profit Group and Natalia Thomas joins as Counsel in the firm's Creditors' Rights, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group, both working out of its Garden City office. Tina M. Kassangana, who previously worked for the firm for three years, returns as an Associate in its Corporate, M&A & Securities Group out of its New York City office.

Nafisa Ahmed concentrates her practice on all aspects of not-for-profit matters. Prior to joining Moritt Hock & Hamroff, Ms. Ahmed interned with multiple law firms in New York and California, gaining valuable experience and expertise in multiple practice areas including corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, privacy and cybersecurity, intellectual property and employment law. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law.
Natalia Thomas concentrates her practice on all aspects of commercial mortgage foreclosure litigation. Ms. Thomas earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.
Tina M. Kassangana's diverse practice includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, securities, general corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and secured lending. Her additional corporate experiences include leading and chairing buyer-side RWI underwriting due diligence matters. Ms. Kassangana's practice experience spans multiple sectors, including but not limited to fintech, NFTs, cannabis, medical devices, professional services, healthcare, insurance, construction, and manufacturing. Ms. Kassangana earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.
