Pluris Valuation Advisors, LLC, a full-service national valuation firm, announced the creation of the Real Estate Appraisal Group.
The new group, which will be based in Pluris’ office in Newport Beach, CA, will be headed by Vice President Steven D. Henry, MIA, a nationally recognized expert in valuing complex real estate. The new group will provide appraisals of almost any type of real property, including raw land, large residential developments, commercial properties and portfolios of real estate.
“Now Pluris can offer truly complete valuation services for portfolios, financial reporting, estate and gift tax reporting, complex litigation and other purposes,” said President Espen Robak. “We have the ability to provide well-reasoned, thoroughly researched opinions for virtually any purpose.”
Pluris appraisers have expertise in all kinds of property rights, as well as specialty research. Issues they have advised on include master-planned communities; large real estate portfolios; market absorption studies; raw and undeveloped land; apartments, complexes and subdivisions; industrial properties; office properties, and retail properties.
Pluris has offices in New York City, N.Y., and San Francisco and Newport Beach, Calif., and its real estate experts are licensed as appraisers in most major markets nationwide.
“Pluris has developed a national reputation for its ability to value illiquid and complex securities,” Henry said. “The Real Estate Appraisal Group, likewise, begins with expertise in valuing commercial portfolios with values of up to $15 billion, including some of the best-known properties in Southern California. This new service will complement existing services Pluris offers, providing an opportunity for significant growth.”
