Renn Iaboni – Managing Director, Head of Origination
Renn joined Monomoy in 2021 as a Director and now serves as Head of the Origination Team, driving Monomoy’s deal sourcing efforts. Over his tenure, Renn has spearheaded a number of impactful projects, including the successful launch of our updated deal sourcing engine, Beacon. Renn counts presenting at Monomoy’s 2024 Executive Conference as a highlight of his time with the firm. The opportunity to share insights with an audience representing Monomoy’s closest partners underscored the value of his team’s strategic initiatives and highlighted the collaborative culture Monomoy promotes.
Hasan Niazi – Senior Operating Executive, Operating Team
Joining Monomoy in 2021 as an Operating Executive with fifteen years of professional experience, Hasan has leveraged his direct exposure to private equity with Monomoy’s resources and support to drive his professional growth. With a firm-wide open-door policy, connecting with the firm’s senior leaders has been instrumental for Hasan over the last three years.
Hunter Behne – Senior Associate, Operating Team
Hunter joined Monomoy in 2022 as an Associate, working closely with two portfolio companies — Valtir and EnviroTech. For Hunter, the opportunity to partner with portfolio company management teams on critical projects has been a highlight of his time at Monomoy, along with the breadth of technical training he’s received to date, far exceeding his expectations when joining the firm.
Ryan Curtis – Senior Associate, Investment Team
Since joining Monomoy in 2021 as an Associate, Ryan has supported two equity transactions — the acquisitions of Thetford and Japs Olson — and serves as a critical member of the Edsal deal team. Ryan has benefitted greatly from the meaningful roles Associates and Senior Associates play on Monomoy’s deal teams, and credits the mentorship his colleagues have provided him over the last three years as the main contributing factors to his professional development.
Andrew Kahn – Senior Associate, Investment Team
As an Associate at Monomoy for the past three years, Andrew has supported four transactions, including the platform acquisition of Cast-Crete, Cast-Crete’s first add-on acquisition, the sale of Shaw Development and the platform acquisition of EnviroTech. Andrew cites his growing ability to be a thought partner and valued contributor as highlights of his tenure at the firm.
Vaibhav Srinivasan – Associate, Investment Team
Vaibhav was a member of Monomoy’s inaugural intern class in 2021 and joined the Investment Team as an analyst in 2022. After observing the late-stage diligence of several Monomoy transactions during his internship, Vaibhav was well-prepared to support the acquisitions of Japs Olson and EnviroTech as an Analyst. Vaibhav credits the team’s personal and professional support and proactive approach to professional development as instrumental influences during the early stages of his career.
