The Keystone Group named Mike Topa as Executive Advisor and Christopher Capers as Senior Principal.

Topa has extensive C-level experience encompassing private equity portfolio companies as both an investor as well as an operating executive.  Additionally, he has served as publicly held company CFO, serving on the Board of Directors, as part of a restructuring leading to its successful merger. His industry experience includes aviation, manufacturing, remanufacturing, trucking, construction, both domestic and international. Topa has contributed to several successful exits and restructurings, substantially creating shareholder value.  He has also served on the Board of Directors for both a public company and two international joint ventures. Topa will be working out of Dallas to grow Keystone’s presence in Texas.
 
Capers specializes in driving operational excellence, cost reductions, and overall value creation optimization across middle market companies. He is an operations and turnaround specialist with 20+ years’ experience serving executive teams on product profitability, cost cutting, pricing management, practical lean manufacturing, acquisition integration, asset effectiveness, sourcing, and supply base restructuring. He has exposure across multiple industries, including but not limited to consumer products, industrial products, automotive, packaging, tech/media, business services, and distribution. Prior to joining Keystone, Christopher served in numerous roles across PE advisory, consulting, corporate, and entrepreneurial ventures. Capers will be working out of Keystone’s Atlanta office.
