GE Capital, Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) announced that it will provide financing to information technology (IT) solution providers that are part of the AT&T Partner Exchange reseller program. The program helps solution providers create custom solutions for their business customers by bundling AT&T’s advanced mobility, cloud and IP networking solutions with hardware, software and managed services.
CDF will provide 60 days of subsidized interest to qualified solution providers. Those that are part of the AT&T Partner Exchange program may be eligible for streamlined credit approvals and simplified documentation requirements.
“Solution providers are expanding their expertise, and our leading network and mobile services can help them attract more business customers,” said Randall Porter, vice president, business development, Emerging Business Markets, AT&T Corp. “With the addition of GE Capital, our solution providers will have more reasons to resell our advanced services to help grow their business.”
Working capital financing is an important element of a successful vendor-solution provider business model. By providing a channel financing program, technology vendors effectively increase their own pool of working capital, as well as that of the solution provider partners selling their IT solutions.
“It’s just as important for us to keep pace with the rapid changes in the IT channel as it is for our customers,” said Mike Marcolina, managing director of CDF. “We’re pleased to work with the AT&T Partner Exchange program and we look forward to supporting the financing needs of their solution providers."
CDF provided more than $18 billion in channel financing to more than 1,300 channel partners globally in 2013.
